One of my friends is getting this message when he checks his case status on the USCIS website. Any ideas what this means:

"On December xx, 2006, we transferred this case to our NEBRASKA SERVICE CENTER location to conduct the interview that is a standard part of processing this N400 APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION. You will be sent a notice when the interview is scheduled, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process each kind of case in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. This case has been sent to our NEBRASKA SERVICE CENTER location. Follow the link below for current processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register."

When the case was filed at NSC and awaited to be transferred to DO, what does this message mean? Will the interview be held at NSC or at the local DO? His case was filed sometime in June 2006 and he awaiting interview.

The note sounds a little strange since as far as I know, the Interview is always done at the local DO and not at the NSC.
