As expected, no change in either I-140 or I-485 processing dates.
So what exactly is NSC working on? Over the last month,
GC replacement: Moved from 10/30/03 to 01/21/04
GC renewal: Moved from 09/25/03 to 02/20/04
This is so-called "easy" case, since no new status here.
I-130 (US citizen petition for spouse, parent or minor child): biggest move, moved from 10/04/02 to 09/01/03.
Petitioners here have a say in nov elections.
So what to conclude? NSC is reducing backlog by working on the easier cases so the numbers look good, rather than tackling core backlog of I-485s (and now I-140s)...
Any comments?
