NSC I-140 Tracker 9 wef July 02.

Hi Folks,

This is SRI. My Eb2 case is 90 days past. Now My lawyers paralegal says they are getting 140 receipts which says 120 days as processing time. Couple of collegues ( one before and one after my RD have got querries). This means my case has escaped????( Hope so!!!).

Guys , pl post details as soon as you hear them which will keep us in Good spirits in these Tough times.

Could you rename this thread with the continuation number 9.

2 months back I140 use to get approved in 50 days

Just 2 months back it was only 50 to 60 days for the approval of I140 now it is taking 4 months to 5 months, there are lot of people in the month of feb and march 2002 who had not got I140 approved perticularly EB2 category.
Do any body knows what might be reason ?
 
Reasons fro thr delay

1) New security procedures.
2) lack of staff at nebreaska. I just saw an article that they recruited 50 new people who are supposed to be security screened and trained and then process picks up speed
3)as of today the outer mark has gone to 120 days from 90 days.
4) eb3 cases are bit st. forward as guys apply as programmers etc with less salary and no complivated stuff,whereas for eb2 one can clain his eb2 status by wasy of masters or bs+5 yrs exp. further high salaries in Lc is a negative point.( two of my collegues who got Quesrries are having high lc salry figure). the reason being company;'s ability to pay in this low economy.
