New needed PLEASE on AP in Chicago!!!

I just came back from Chicago BCIS to apply for emergency travel document(or AP) they told me because I did not file I485 from them so they did not give me AP.
I think someone from here got it from Chicago office. Can someone let me know how to get one? My mother is extremly ill I already booked the air ticket. And I know it will take up to three months to get approved in Nebraska.
Can anyone give any suggestioon? I am from China and I filed my I485 in 09/2001.

Probably u need to sell yourself more. It happened in my wifes case.

1. Show then the proof of tickit
2. Show then the medical records ( FAX ) the reason why u need to travel.
3. Tell then u called NSC and they adviced u to go to Local office & get it as u do not have time 90 days time.

As u have been there once u can always tell then u called NSC after your 1st trip. And this is what thet adviced.
