*NEW* Modified Excel Script

Here is the new excel script with all the three macros.

1. I485 - the original scan Macro
2. ModifiedI485 - the modified macro, that reads src numbers from an excel worksheet
3. MakeChart - this one allows you to make charts

Let me know if you have any questions...

also note that i have done a little bit of testing... but not a lot. If u run into any problems let me know...

Thanks for the contribution. Your "Modified" script save us big time.
I run the script - it is fine. Just one question,
On the example work sheet that you have provided, how does the "xxx Count" generated? Is it generated from the Modified script directly?

I know what you are saying, but I expect that they will add a new entry field, like your name, so people cannot randomly view everyone's case status number. It does not bother me that people are doing this, but I think that soon some restriction will be put in place and that would also be fine with me. As much as I have been tempted to use the script myself, it somehow seems unethical. BCIS left the door open, but I don't think it is our right to look. Just my opinion.

I tried running 485 scan many times unsuccessfully. Could you please help me by running the macro for SRC-02-131-(5xxxx to56118) and post results. BTW BCIS/INS dose all that stupid stuff any way even if you are ethical or not. why should we not utilize the only source of realistic information we can get?

I disagree with you. All we are doing is trying to figure out the processing pattern of TSC. By running the script I'm neither getting any advantage over other applicants nor creating problems for others. But it will give me some indication of when I can expect my FP or how long I will have to wait to get my GC. For the last couple of years my life has been directly controlled by TSC. I don't know how many more years this is going to continue ...

For now, I know that I cannot expect my FP notice for few more months. Knowing this saves me lot of trips to my mail box and helps me sleep somewhat peacefully in the night.

If only TSC was more transparent and told us what it was doing, none of us would have to go thru the pain of creating/running these scripts or contacting senators/congressmen or running from pillar to post.

And agian... this is how I feel and i don't expect everyone to agree with me.

I back up dinnu 100%. I am not taking advantage of any body nor trying to harm somebody. I am just looking at a cold data trying to get a feeling of when my case might get approved. And, I do not expect everybody to agree with me either.

I am new to this forum. I tried to modify the script for I140, but it is not updating the status in the excel worksheet. Can you help plz...

I am using it at Vermont I-140 Tracking It works perfectly fine. Changed all SRC to EAC and 485 to 140 using find and replace. It works fine.
