Welcome, Jarmsbi! A Police Clearance is a document from the particular country that essentially says you have been a good boy or girl. It must be recent - within the last year - but better within the last three months, if possible. Each country has a difference format. If you have a police record, then you will have a harder time being approved - depending on the particular crime.
Don't delay with initiating the clearances you need - they can take some time, depending on the country.
