New LC with pening 485?

Hi,
I need advice. I have pending 485 from company A (EB3 India) for which I do not work anymore. I wanted some backup by applying new LC under perm from my present company B. When talked to lawyer, lawyer says to wait and new lc is not needed. I do not know what could be the reasons why is he suggesting this. What are your opinions? Unitednations/nato please reply.

If you worked for at least 180 days at company A after submitting I-485 and used AC-21 to switch job to company B while the job position and roles are similar to your original LC (filed by company A), then you do not need another LC from company B.
