new Labor while 485 pending ??

This thread is w.r.t my earlier thread regarding "Layoff before 180 days"

If I plan to pursue a second green card application through a new employer, then ...

* Can I file for a new Labor Clearance while my I485 is
pending ..??
* If I file a 2nd "Labor Clearance" through a second/new
employer, and say it gets rejected, then will it have an impact
on an existing 'Labor Clearance' which I already got from INS
(and through which my current 485 is running)?
* In other words, are the two "Labor Clearance" applications (one
approved and the other newly filed) are completely
independent ??
* Will filing a new Labor have any impact on my already running
485 application ??

2nd LC

This could create a problem as 485 is shows to INS that you have a clear 'intent' to work for your sponsor. When there is another LC, the intent has conflict.

You may withdraw first 485 and start the process again, but will waste lots of time.

Continue with the existing one, find a new job, and hope AC21 regulations will be favorable to you if they come out before your adjudication. If they don't, you should be fine.
