It sounds to me like there are many people on this forum who have taken their citizenship test, passed, and then were told to wait because their name check hasn't been completed yet. My wife is also in this situation as she took her test in August, 2005 and hasn't heard anything yet.
I work in TV news. I think this is an intesting story and would like to pitch it to some people at my station and try to get it on the air. Before I do that, I need to gather some information from some other people who are in this same situation and from the NJ/NY/Conn area. Please send me an e-mail at Edit225@gmail.com and let me know how long you've been waiting since you took your test, and also where you took your test (i.e. Newark, NJ). Also in your e-mail, let me know if I, or someone from my station, can contact you regarding your situation. If you don't want to be contacted, that's not a problem but please still send me an e-mail because the more people I hear from, the better the chances of getting the story on the air.
