I have mailed my EAD + AP application Yesterday with old fees
EAD- 175$
AP -165$

Just noticed that the fee is changed.
What Should I do? Should I mail another application or just wait...

USCIS Site says ... If the application is post marked before Oct 26 its ok.
Is it really OK? Any risk ..?? I am already close to the 90 days mark of EAD

I have efiled today with the old fees.
You should be fine, do not worry.

In 2002, I had issue with wrong fees. The INS send me back the forms along with the money order with a notoice (with a receipt number).
It was mentioned to send the forms with correct fees with that notice and the address in that notice.

You are ok, as yours should have a post mark of 24 oct 2006.

Well did you send the applications for EAD and AP in same cover or seperately?
 
I did send XTRA money!!

Well............its different at this end.
I did send EAD last Friday and Send new fees for EAD.
It reached yesterday to BCIS.........I hope this will not be matter of concern....

Jayjo7, I have mailed the EAD and AP in two different envelopes as they both have diff post box address.
 
I have efiled today and send supporting docs for I-131(AP) for me, spouse and daughter.
Can I send inside one envelop but with separate envlop inside??
 
When you e-file, does the instruction say to file in one envelope?

For paper applications, I remember speaking to the USCIS rep who mentioned of sending it in two separate envelopes if it is for EAD and AP

I would send them in different envelopes as you can have certified receipt for each applications

Can you tell me what was Old fee for EAD ? Was is $170?

Old fees for EAD - $170 & for AP - $ 160 correct? (and you sent this fee!)
New Fees - changed to EAD- 175$ and AP -165$

I e-filed my EAD on Sunday Oct 23 & my Credit Card was charged for $ 175. Hope I have paid New fee!

Effective October 26, 2005, the filing fee for this application (EAD) will be increased to $180. Applications filed (postmarked) on or after October 26, 2005, must be accompanied by the new fee amount.

The old fees (Before Oct 26) for EAD was 175.00
The new fees (After Oct 26) for EAD is 180.00

What you paid by credit card on Oct 23 is correct. I have sent the same amount $175 to INS

Someone please clarify this. I e-filed my EAD and Ap applications on Oct 25th and i was charged $175 for EAD and $165 for AP. Do i need to send the remaining amount when i send the supporting documentation?

No, the news fees take effect on Oct 26
