New Immigrant(Lottery Category) Documentations in USA

As new immigrant who wins lottery arrives US, He does not know what to do to complete his formalities, like the following issues:
1-Green Card: Does immigration send the green card to the immigrant in the same address given before OR he has to fill I-485 application and submit it to immigration.
2-How he can file that application by hand or online and what is the mode of payment?.
3-The fee of I-485 is 985 $, Should this fee be paid for main applicant or for all family members?.
4-How much the fee for SSN and is it going to be paid for every member of the family?
5-Shall I have to take work permission from Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to submit it to social security.
Answers from the people who have experience in these issues will be appreciated.
