Hello,

I am planning to enter US using AP. I know I will need to fill out a new I-94 card and it will be stamped by the officer. The question is: should I ask the officer to keep my old I-94 number? Someone told me that the officer will cross out the new number on the new I-94 card and then write the old number on it. Is it true? Should I request him to do that or he will auotmatically do that? Thanks a lot.

I got ack last week and crossed out the new I-94 myself and wrote my old number as usuall but the officer crossed that out also and said since you are a parolee, you don't need an I-94 number

similar experience

I've had similar experience. I filled out the new I-94, and at the POE, I raised the issue of new I-94 number not the same with my current one, he said, don't worry about it, it'll be OK.

I94 makes no sense if you are entering on AP.
You just have to get it - the dates & numbers have no significance - so rest easy :)
