Dear all,
First of all I would like to thanks all those guys/girls for posting their precious suggestion on the forum for me to understand and manage the issue.
I am new to h1b and will be visiting to usa for the first time, I got h1b thru one balle-balle american desi company....I went for my visa stampign today and I was really afraid if I will get thru. But let me tell you all the guys that these forums are sometimes really scarry coz the type of experience people post, but let me tell you all one thing honestly if you have a expected degree and you are telling the truth whatever he is asking noway I don't think these guys will refuse ur visa. Make sure to prepare all the document and answer well in advance.
I had all the document needed and mentioned on the chennai consulate website, but surprisingly he just ask me to produce my h1b (797, 129 and LCA) and my original of degree.
The questions he asked me.
1) Tell me abt your xxx usa company what does it do.
2) How many employees they have.
3) What is your maximum degree.
4) How long ur working in the current company, I said from Jul 2003, then he told me how many months (so you should know that, don't start calculating in front of them and be promot to answer.
5) How long ur planning to stay in USA.
And he told me go and pay ur visa fees.
He never bother to check all the document.
Make sure one thing that arrange all the documents and I have seen people searching for the documents in front of him when asked, one more thing if you ever applied for a h1b or any us visa and if he ask you please tell him, coz one guy today he applied in 1999, didn't got thru and when consular asked him did you ever applied for h1b he said no sir never, than consular asked him are you sure you didn't do it in 1999, than this gays said yes sir I think so i did, and that's it, consular asked him to wait.
So be true to ur self, no need to worry, carry all the stuff mentioned on their site and arrange them by putting paste notes.
Feel free to write to me on koi.milgaya@rediffmail.com for further queries.
Once again thanks and best wishes to all.
Regards,
