New H1B Fees question. Please Help

I have asked my company to process my 9 th year extension. My company is going to file for my 9 th year. Is the new fee rule in effect for H1B extension even when the same company applies for an extension.

If it is your second extension with the same company then the additional fees will not apply.

Thanks for your reply. This is my fourth extension from my company. So hopefully my company need not have to pay the huge fees.
