New H1-B required for promotion?

I got my H1B as an accountant. Do I need to apply for a new H1B since my employer is promoting me to be accounting supervisor?

Thank you for your response! Now I just have to fly to Canada to activate my H1B

Check to see if Canada is again doing third country national stampings if you are referring to going for that reason.
