New H1 after tts visa appointment!! Please Urgent!

Hello gurus,

My wife, who is in India on a visit, took an appointment for h4 stamping 2 months ago and she got oct 7th as interview date. After she took the appointment, I had to change companies and I now have a new H1b document. However, there is no way to change the petitioner information on the TTS visas website. The appointment clearly states that whatever is in their system will be used for visa stamp.

Has any one faced this before? Can my wife go for the interview and just show the new H1 document to them? I have all the documents required from the new company. I cannot make another appointment since the next one is only in december. I have sent an email to the tt services and am waiting for a response from them.

Please help. I am running out of time.

thanks

I also sent an email to them....
They replied back saying that they cannot change the information because of security reasons.

Did you get a response from them?

Let me know if there is some way out of this,

Dont Worry!!

need1gc,

Don't worry you take the old and new H1B Doc on your appointment day . At consulate the TTS service guys just verify the docs which you have mentioned on their website after that everything is done according to what you write in DS-156 & DS-157 form . In my wife case we took appointment on the basis of

her maiden name and her old passport and with my old 797 But when she went she had her new passport(married name), the name ,passport number ,oviously the issue date in passport changed . Also she took my NEW extension notice (which has a new LIN No ) .There was no issue .

Incase if the TTS guys asked show them the old H1B docs But mention everything correctly on DS-156 & DS-157 and you are all set .

The above TTS office i mentioned is in Calcutta and she went for h4 stamping on 15th sep and she got the visa till the new extension notice (2007 march).

Good luck

Follow-Up

Just a follow up on my spouse's interview in chennai.

When she got to the embassy, she submitted the new H1 and new LCA documents and informed them that they were different from whats on the appointment. It was no problem. They accepted only the new H1 and LCA. So there is nothing to worry about. See you all in the GC corner.

Thanks to everyone for your responses.
Ravi
