Hello!

The look of the Green Card has been changed. Since November 15, 2004 new Green Cards will be issued. They have the name Department of Homeland Security. People who already have a Green Card can keep their card. Only after their card is expired, they will get the new Green card.

I have a question not relating to thie issue mentioned above:
When a GC holder has lived in USA for six years and then he leaves USA with a re-entry permit for two years, is he allowed to apply for US citizenship as soon as he return to USA? He can prove that he has lived in USA for five consequetive years.
 
Not drastically different though.

Mr. Void V. Void is the lucky one to get the first "new " card ... :D
