Hello veterans,
This is my first post. My sincere thanks and appreciation to Rajiv Khanna and his team at ImmigrationPortal for the great work.
My spouse is on her h1 since oct last and on a long term project. myself on H4 but with approved H1 petition awaiting Oct. 01
My spouse wants to initiate GC processing and I am hoping to do so myself after i get into gainful employment shortly.
I have a couple of questions :
1. Is it possible that I can request my sponsor to initiate my GC processing soon after I join the H1 employed stream shortly (hopefully
? Or is there a 'gestation period' before i should consider this ?
2. Considering the substantial expenditure involved and assuming that my spouse's employer is not going to foot the GC processing bill (at least not entirely), would there be any advantage other than increasing the chances, in both myself and my spouse applying for GC processing seperately ?
thanks in advance for your replies. i hope to have chosen the right forum for posting. my apologies if i have not.
