EAD Renewal through attorney costs a fortune. I wanted to do this myself this time. Trying to be cheap. ;) I have made the copy of form filled by lawyer for me from last year. But I just came to know that they put a New EAD Renewal form.

What are the changes to new New EAD Renewal form from the one from last year? Has anyone submited new form for themself and spouse?

Thanks

Do it online its fast and simple .. I just did it a week back .. the form appeared same to me as last 2 times.

The only difference between the last time and now is .. last time I had to schedule (call) the biometrics .. but this time they send the appointment letter with the ASC.

Attorney for EAD is not at all required.

Go to the following links for EAD related thread. You will find sticky thread for filling on-line and via paper.

I filed EAD paper based just a week ago, it is pretty easy. USCIS on their website advises to file EAD six months before so I did.

well attorney adviced to file application atleast 4 months before expiry of your existing EAD just to be safe. so that you will have new EAD before old expires.

Damm they dont want to make a 3 year EAD.

I did it myself online. Filed on Jan 19, approved on Feb 26(almost 40 days).
I had previously done it for my wife and son(lawyer was charging me  )

They will never issue 3 year EAD. That is "The Goose That Laid the Golden Eggs" for them. :)
