Yesterday I sent a mail to Rajiv office regarding petition submission help. Today I got reply back from his office.

Here is the reply

As per Rajiv, there is no such provision that you can take a personal appointment from the Director. Please check with the VSC. Not much we can do to help you.

I am out of ideas. Can any body suggest me what to do?

One possibility Which I think is

Vermiont Service center has got Complaint box. I don't whether this works out or not.

I believe Service Center Director and those below him are not considered as politicians. They are government employees. That is they'll be still there is George Bush is out of Whitehouse. As I pointed out in one of my previous posts they are small potatoes. It makes sense if they don't take appointments.

However, we can try local congress members. They will certainly want to hear from their constituents.

I would rather conatct congressman and senators as a group and voice our concerns, instead of taking an appt or suing BCIS.

That is true but they have to clear previous month backlog before proceed to next month. This I feel very important.

They should give high priority to fp2 and RFE replies. These should be handled prior doing any new approvals. So that people don't have to wait indefinately.

These priorities will be set at service center level not at congress level.

Don't lose hope. Rajiv once mentioned that we can try to set up conference with BCIS officials. Eventhough there might not be offical procedure to request meeting Rajiv might be able to help us or suggest something for us. Let us wait till Rajiv gets back to his office.

However, the top management people at the service centers are just employees of government.
They must be stupid and ccwardly.
I believe it's a waste of our valuable resource to try to contact them in ordet to make them improve the process and negotite the priority.

As I posted before:

our strategy should be:
to attack U.S. Goverment Executive Branch (including USCIS, DHS) by Legislative Branch, Judicial Branch, or Media.

Are we being fooled!

Maybe bcis is just fooling us by approving a few feb/march/april cases. This gives an impression to us that they are actually processing cases. But in fact they are doing something else-like somebody pointed out that they have been told by bushcroft to check all GC's approved from 1999 to 2001 and maybe prior to that. Nothing will happen by going to Vermont as those people are mere officials and follow orders. Something may happen (???) by hand delivering the petition to Bushy!

USCIS never obeyed their boss(Congress). They don't have regulation for the law passed by congress and signed by president 3 years ago (AC21). They never submitted any backlog reduction report to congress which they are obligated to do per the Immigration Infrastructure improvements act 2000.

Let us bring all these to the attention of Congress and Media. So let us focus our efforts on this.

Interesting!! people are scared or too busy to vote in a secret poll but would be willing to go all the way to the senator's office and hand deliver the petition. What group are we talking about here.

Right, it will definitely be interesting for people like you. Just because somebody disagreed with your idea, you don't have to start criticising them. B.t.w, I've already voted in the poll.

I am not criticizing you, but the system here.
I disagree with what is going on here. Sue-ing or not is a decision the folks out here will take. Telling them about it is what i am doing. Our petition effort though making some progress is moving at snail's pace. I and some others just suggested an option. An option that might appeal to them or not is their decision and will in no way concern me. Good Luck with your GC.
