Applied in 2000 Aug!

hi! my bro. had applied in 2000 Aug in india. Till now he has not heard anything from consulate.

did he get a file number or assessment letter yet?
did he contact the consulate about it?

Consulate says to wait!!

he has his file# etc. He went to New Delhi consulate to inquire. They was told to him that it is taking 3 years to process the cases.

So another year to go! And then another year to complete medical etc!
This is becoming a five year plan!

Has anyone out there heard from New Delhi consulate. please share the info.
