Dear IGTE and NON-IGTE Friends,
I came to know of this web site thru one of my friend and realized that I might have gained more knowledge about various immigration issues if I would have known about this site earlier. Never mind. It\'s not too late. I am also from IGTE and my PD is : April 98 and my RD/ND is: Sept. 1999 and did my FP back on Aug. 2000. As per LD my amended 140 was filed on May 4, 2001. I called IIO couple of days back and I was told that my case is still on hold and they couldn\'t see my amended I-140 in their system. I called ESC today and I was told to wait till end of this week and hopefully they should have my receipt notice for amended I-140. I specifically asked the IIO, does amended I-140 automatically removes the "HOLD" and I was told that as soon as an amended I-140 is filed (basically when they see in their system) the case will be assigned to an officer and from that time it might take between 30 days to 2 months. Already spent 5 plus years. Can\'t take it any more. God give us the Green Card.
