New asylum law or updates?

I was approved asylum by IJ on 23, APRIL 2007 and i have yet to receive my work permit card and maybe I94 after making appointment at the INS office 3 days later.

What's the new changes? How USCIS is doing these days regarding asylum grants?

I hear lots of changes like fast track EAD card and green card application.

How long my EAD card wil be valid for? 2 years 5 years or same old one year and renewable after that?

I hearted asylum grants at the asylum office and from IJ are different.

Pls give me helpful infos.

I was approved by an IJ in 2003 on the same date as you . Anyways in my case the USCIS had 30 days to appeal, which they didnt then I got my stamped I-94 card showing asylee status. Didnt apply for EAD since Asylees dont need it.

gov attorney also told me he won't appeal and everyone was sympethetic to me and judge asked me not 1 question and told me to do good after i get asylum.

u got in 2003 but i got in 2007 though it is same date and month, haha
i am sure there are lots of changes now which i dont know.

where u got the i94 card?
did u apply for any post asylum benefits like medical cards?
