Hi friends,
may be some one can help me on this question.

I came to US through company A and after a period of 2 years I transferred my H1 to company B and I quit company A, I was on bench and never worked for company B. I dont have W2 or any papers from company B, later I managed to switch to company C for which i am working now.

my labor got cleared through company C, my attorney is asking me to send W2 forms for I40 processing, since i am showing company B experience and I don't have my W2 form for company B will it be a problem, what is the solution for this?

Thanks in advance

Since your H1-B was transferred to company B and I'm assuming you would have signed employment contract with company B it would be deemed that you worked for company B. Irrespective of the bench time, you should have received pay stubs for the period worked. Company B should be able to provide you W2 for the period worked stating the wages.
