never ending "AOS pending" ...

Hello all:
I am visiting this forum after a long time.
I am a citizen of Pakistan.
140 approved, but 485 has been pending since 2003. have been working on Annual EAD renewals.
I am told that the delay is due to background checks, etc.

One option is to just be patient and wait, and periodically call the INS to inquire about my case. But I’m getting pretty tired of this. WHAT OTHER OPTIONS DO I HAVE? Any gurus want to give me any pointers.

I believe you filed 485 in April 2003, plz share what is your PD?

Don't worry about Sec-check many ppl are going through,

First of all find out exactly stage of ur case by calling directly calling to CSC center, CSC center is more flexable than TSC.


Here how to call directly just use ur CSC receipt no,

method to follow to talk with TSC direct.

use 800 to find status.
Press 1 for english
Press 2
Press 6
Press 1 for SRC #
Press 1 again to confirm
Press 3
Press 3 or 4 when it says u have file Multiple applicaiton, by selecting this option u will be connected with TSC.

(if u find any error after SRC input, use any other SRC like EAD etc)

Once connected give TSC-opt to ur 485 src.

First of all find out the exact sitution , if they say clearly that ur case are waiting for Sec-check.

In next post I would post some addresses that u may send regular mail to request for ur namecheck status.

Always be hopeful and thank God that u are in better shape than others, no doubt everyone is in painful situation and we all can understand what ppl are going through,
