Need your help!!

I\'ve sent in my I-485 application, and my first 3-year H1B will expire in Jan,2002. I was wondering what I should do if my employer is unwilling to pay $1,110 for the H1B extension. Can I pay the company back? Can I apply for EAD instead? How long will EAD be valid?

EAD !

Hi ,

 I had the same problem. I waited for the EAD. EAD is valid for 1 year. If you do not get your EAD 90 days from the reciept date then you can walk into your local INS and get EAD. Caution some INS offices do not issue EAD.
