My passport is stamped and waiting for Plastic Card to come.
Here is the situation ,
Recently I recieved termination letter from employer for October 05. Employer offered some retention bonus and severance package if I stay with the company untill October 05.
Please advise should I stay with the company till October or find a new job.
Do I need to inform USCIS ? (if I stick with this company till Oct or Not )
Do I have to work in similar job position or do some different business if I could ?
I would appreciate your expert advise.

Although I cannot give you expert opinion, I don't think you have to inform the CIS about the termination. As you know, people have different opinions as to how long we should stay with our sponsoring employers, many suggest the minimum of 6 mos or 1 year. Now, in your case, you won't even have 6 mos with your current employer even if you take the company's offer of working till early Oct. Could this be a problem? I don't think so, because the termination is outside of your control.
Are you planning to apply for citizenship in future? If so, you want to keep the termination letter so that you can explain your leaving the current employer was not your own choice, if asked.
In terms of the field of your future job, I don't know. I've seen lots of different opinions in the life after GC forum, you might want to check it out yourself..

joining new employer in this month or next ?

hanging in here,
Thanks for the reply.
Is it OK if I join a new employer in the same field may be in this month or next month? Let me know what I need to do , I am very concerned and careful.
Regards

My personal view is that as far as you're leaving because of the termination, it doesn't matter whether you leave this month or later. (Also, as this is termination, I doubt the employer is going to complain to the CIS..)
I think the main thing is not to give the CIS the impression that you took off the sponsoring employer as soon as you got GC in future, if the CIS decides to bother checking your employment history)
Why don't you post your question in the life after GC thread, you might get better views!
