After nearly 5 year's separation my wife and son will arrive by end of this month. It's really a long way to go! There're several questions regadring my family's reunion, please give me help and advice.

1) What's the most important thing we'll do regarding immigration after they arrive in the U.S.? Go to the Social Security office to apply the social security cards?

2) When will my wife and son be able to apply GC? One year later?

Any reply will be highly appreciated.
