I am a granted asylee and have been desperately waiting for my I-485 approval since 2000. Now I need to go back to my home country as my mother is very sick. My spouse already applied Advance Parole for me through his Employment based I-485 filing(he filed I-485 for me, too).
My question is: If the inspectors at airport find out my asylee status, will they refuse me to get back? I don't care if they will put me on court as long as I can get back because I don't think I will leave this country again.
Does anyone have similar experience before, please share your thoughts. Your help will be highly appreciated.
