Guys,
Here is my situtation. I am a recent USC. Became a USC June 1st 2011. I have a wife and son back home that i want to bring to the US.

I need some direction and source of information to consult to apply for I-130 for both my spouse and child.

Is this process simple enough to be done solely by me or should i hire an attorney. Can one of you please refer an attorney if one is needed. I cannot spend too much money on this.

If i decide to apply on my own can one of you please point me to a site or posting on this forum that list step by step instructions on how to do this.

Thanks for your help

You do not need a lawyer if your case is not complicated. How did you become a US Citizen, through marriage? How old is your son?

This link is a good source which will show you what to do. There are also several similar postings on this board. Read up on them and you will see it is not necessary complicated.
