Need Urgent Help, Medical Situation issue

My wife went for a visit to india, she had an AP valid till last week of Apr. During her visit her 485 got approved back in the US.
Now due to some complications in the pregnancy she is now on strict bed rest and unable to travel.
So in short her AP is going to expire before she could travel back to get her passport stamped with the newly approved 485. What do you guys suggest that can be done. Should i contact the US embassy in india to find if she can be issued any temporary travel doc or extend her AP?

If she cannot travle means how can you force her to travel? If she can travel she can come here and take the rest. Why the punushment double journey.

Talk to some good attornety first. In the wrost case she can go for CP on which she can will have six months to come back to US.
