Need URGENT help, I-485 RFE

Hi,

One of my friend filed I-485 in Mar, 2002. He and his wife visited India last month. He came back in 2 weeks but his wife will stay there for few months. In his absence he got RFE asking for I-94 and latest medical examination.

Question:

1. Can he get extension (due date is Jun, 04) for his wife to submit required things?

2. He can submit his papers immediately. Should he? Would it make any problem for his wife's case?

3. Any similar experience?

If his wife can come early that would be the best thing to do, however, i wouldn't got for an extension.

Just have your friend take the examination again and send his papework. Most likey his wife will come back before June-04 to take the medical examination.

Extensions are bad, and it says on RFE that extensions are not possible.
