I completed my masters in 2005 december. My OPT was till FEb 2007.
My employer could not file my H1 (in 2006) last years quota.
now my got H1 approved but its effective date is october 1 st 2007.
to remain in status, i enrolled in another school for another program.but they issued my I20 from august 2007 .
I asked my international admissions (previous college and from the new college )
they says you will have 6 months of grace period if you are switching from 1 program to another program.
..from March 2007 to August 2007 ..what is my status now ?
am I still in legal status now !!!
