I got 485 stamped in passport but not received the CARD yet. I need to travel to India in 1-2 days due to family emergency. Am I safe? If anyone has done this before, please suggest which additional documents I need carry. Thanks
Of course you can travel if you have an I-551 stamp in your PP. Looks like you didn't pay attention to the speech they give you when they hand your passport back after stamping.
