I am currently on H1B and the 6th year expiration is coming up in early 2009. My I-485 was filed in June 06 (stuck in name check) and I also have an EAD which expires in July08. I have never used my EAD yet, but I am contemplating changing employer soon, but probably sometime in 2009. Assuming I do not get the GC by then, can I let my EAD expire and then renew it sometime next year when I am ready to use it for my AC21?
