Need the help regarding OPEN LC.

I am changing from X company to Y company for my GC process.
I did send my skills set to Y company. I got the following feed back from the Y company.


"I have an open LC which he fits into providing that he can provide reference letters from his previous employers supporting the minimum requirements of the LC. If you hire and want to proceed with the process, then submit a green card request ."

My question is does that means Apporved labor or not, To continue I-140 & 485 filing?

Looks to me he already got LC approved and trying to match skill/experience with it. But you never know......

Personaly I won't assume anything in important issues like GC. Ask him/her openly and get all the answers upfront and clear before you make any decision.
