Need suggetion on travel to India

Hi guys,

I am planning to leave for India in April 1st week and come back on Apr30th. My H1B visa expires on May -14'2003.

Question: Is it safe to make a trip to India in this case? Will
I face any problem during my Port of Entry, since I will have only 2 weeks of time on my I-94 Card?
Anybody faced this kind of situation?

You should not have any problem, make sure to carry the ORIGINAL H1 approval notice and with you. You will get a new I-94 when you enter.

Did you apply for extension?

Veeranji,

Did you apply for H1 extension?
Did you file 485?
I am not sure what will happen, I would suggest to take a copy
of the receipt with you if you have applied for extension.
