Hi all,
My company is planning to file for my labor in next couple of weeks. I am supposed to pay for all expenses including lawyer fees(It's company's lawyer). From my prospective , I need ur suggestion that should I let them deduct lawyer fees from my salary or should I write separate checks.

Thanks a lot.

Depends on your willingness on what to do... i would go for payroll deductions with smaller monthly installments...this is free of interest :)

Thanks some Greencard(Sorry I don't know the name). Actually I wanted to know will it benefit in a way that if write a check(will have a record that I have paid this money) will help me in tax deductions.

Depending upon your priority:

For Tax Deduction: let Company pay and deduct from your gross salary.

For Record Keeping: You write a check from your personal account. Make sure write separate check for each/every application you submit to USCIS.
