Need suggestion : RD First week of Nov

Hi,
My friend's wife had a miscarriage end of last year.

She is the primary applicant and has taken leave of absence till March.

485 RD is first week of Nov

Can you please answer the following questions

1. Is it okay if she gets an RFE.

2. Can she go to India during the first week of March.

With the processing being so unpredictable.

Any suggestion is helpful

Sorry to hear that !!
If she gets a RFE, can she get a letter from her ob/gyn ? To tell you the truth, I was in leave of absence for 6 months duing my pregnancy/delivery and got my H1 renewed with a ob/gyn's letter.
I wouldn't advise her for an India trip 'cos if she gets a RFE, it will be difficult to produce paystubs. You don't want to get a letter from ob/gyn and go to India !! 'cos it may rise doubts with INS.
