need some written proof abt concurrent filing -- pls help

I140helppls

I need some strong documentation for concurrent filing procedure to show to my employer that its not risky.
They say 'If u file the I140/485 is filed concurrently and the I140 gets rejected , There is no refulation explaining
what will happen. for e.g Can u go back to ur H1 status etc etc .'
However if you have only applied for the I140 u can go back to ur H1 and reapply ur I140 .

Though all of u know the exact reason which is they dont want the people to be able to use AC21 quickly,
I am looking for some sort of documentation to show them and make my case stronger for filing concurrently.
Pls advise

Trying to make connection between H1 and GC process is foolish. I think your employer is fooling you by saying the above.

Do a search on Murthy's "chat transcripts"

http://www.murthy.com/chatlogs/chattran.html

You will find many information related to this.

You can keep extending H1 without any disruption to I-140. PERIOD.

i agree with gcpend abt ur employer

u cud try telling ur employer that even after filing 485 if u do not use ur EAD & AP u r technically still on H-1. so that should solve ur problem. I am doing this. I have filed concurrent and got EAD/AP but I am still on a H-1 and not using the EAD

good luck
