Need some information

Hello everyone

Can someone can tell me some information regarding my case, I had been approved in January 2000, my lawyer filled my I 485 in June 2001 and receipt date July 20th 2001 I moved from MD to CO in December 2003, but I did the address change to Customer Service Center and also to Nebraska Service Center. I receive the address notice from BCIS.
The same year like some people filled their I 485 and got the FP notice, but I did not receive my FP notice yet .I had inform my lawyer, I would like to transfer my case form MD to CO, he said is to early, so I don’t know if he receive the FP notice from CIS. I had ask him couple days ago he had said he doesn’t have any information yet; but I do have the original copy of my receipt.

According to my information, all asylum adjustment cases are centralized in Nebraska. That is, they are only processed in adjustment and not in your local office. There may be exceptions though. You only need to update your address with the INS. As for your FP, I think that you still have 2 or 3 years to worry about them (check the old posts where some one posted the time lines for asylum adjustment). Good luck
