I have couple of things to get clarification on H1 Visa.
my info : I went[with my wife, for same H1] for stamping in 2008 aug, got VISA and we were eligible to enter USA after 2008 sep. but We actually came to USA in 2010 May[20 months later].We didn't come erlier due to recession.We have extension due september 2011.
a. When we apply for extension, will it cover the time that we didn't use[nearly 20 months] ?
b.we applied H1 visas seperately. and I didn't update my spouse details anywhere while applying for SSN. Do I need to update this info anywhere with SSN office ?So that it wil not be problem while trasfering from H1 to H4 for her.
c.my main question is : we are planning for kids, for this should my spouse need to change status to H4 ? If it is required status change, is it better to plan so that we get payslips for her till september month ?
