Need Some Help!!!

Iam curently a System Analyst and when the company filed for my H1 it was discussed with out attorneys that I should be promoted to the next level before I get my Green Card!!!. Now my Company has advertised for the Senior Level Position (which I was supposed to get the promotion say 2 years or so) and that person is expected to join in the next couple of months.

With this situation will I have problems getting my Labor/I140/any other stages approved???

Anyone in this stiuation or have experienced this please post your reply to this thread please!!!!

Thanks for your response. But the thread you referred did not answer my question.

My situation is: The company thought that the labor certf will go on quickly and should get my green card by this year end. But thats not the case. They need a senor level employee which I was supposed to be promoted now, I do not know if my company does not promote me(As a new person will fill that position) will this affect my GC issuance???

Actually the person will be joining the company somtime in feb. I was supposed to be in that position but our company already hired someone as they could not wait any more longer on the decision of my LC. Can Someone tell me is this a serious issue for getting my Green card approval???
