need some help

i came to the US in may 2000 and i think i am now ready to apply for my N-400.my question is tht i had been out of the us for more than 6 months and less than an year two times since i got my green card. but for the past 2 years i am continously staying and working full time here.i want to know whether i am eligible to file for citizenship and also if i can visit india for a couple of weeks after i file my application.thanks
