I need some help clearing some questions about my case. My case was filed first in Dec of 2005. Everything was fine and I got my EAD and the interview date for June of 2006. Thing went wrong about a week before the interview when the website was updated with cancellation of the interview. I didn't think nothing of it so I sort of let it go until late Nov of 2006. In Dec of 2006 I reapplied for a renewal of EAD since it was to expire on Feb of 2007. I got my biometric note about a week after and soon after I get a letter from the INS for denied case notice for failure to appear to the interview. First, I went to get my biometric done and the week later, my attorney and I filed a motion. Fast forward to March, I lost my job due to lack of EAD and my EAD application still pending. I did get a letter from INS on the 16th and they did reopen my case as miscommunication. I wait two more weeks for my EAD, nothing. Called the INS for the 5th or so this time they report for case finding for the second time. That night I came home, and find a letter from INS for an interview in April 18th.
I guess my questions are
1. do I need to still try to get another EAD? Wait for the case that was filed or reapply for EAD?
2. If the interview goes well, would I get an EAD that day or is that something else that I have to wait again?
