Need some answers about I-864 & I-864A

Hello,
I am putting all forms together to file somestime the end of this month ...
here is my situation :
my wife's income is not enough ...so her parents would like me to use their income to meet the requirement ...and looks like i have to use both of her parents income to meet th requirement .

my questions :

1. I understand that my wife has to fill out I-864 even her income isnt enough and I-864A one of each for her mom and dad ......am i correct?

2. In i-864 on page 3-paragraph 6-line 4 its says "there may be no more then 2 joint sponsers" .....what does it mean ????.....does this mean my wife and either her mom or dad can only be the 2 joint sponsers OR my wife being the main sponser and her mom and dad are the 2 joint sponsers ?

3. then my next question is on the I-864 form on Part 1. there are choices a thru f .Since i will have joint sponsers which choice should i check mark .....a or e???

I864 and I864A

I am also on F1 and have the same predicament. I visited the immigration counselor at my college and she had me fill out 2 I-864 one by my wife and the other from my father-in-law. She explained that we don’t need the I-864A because he does not live with us and the I864A is only used if he was living with us. Can any one confirm that this is true and correct?
 
Do you live with your wife's parents? If not then they need to fill out I-864, not I-864A which is for "Household Members".
 
so when my wife fills out the I-864 she will check option a in part 1 of the form right

and her parents will choose "e ".........lets say her dad being the first jiont sposner and her mom being 2nd joint sponser ????

so basically 3 I-864s right ????

am i correct now???

another question

after filling out 3 i-864s........they will add all the incomes from each forms right ?????????? and after they combine all of it the net amount has to be above 125% of the poverty level right ???????

That is not correct:eek: If your wife does not meet the income requirements, you will need a co-sponsor. Your wife's parents can sponsor you if their total income meets the income requirements. Your wife has to fill out the I-864 even though she doesn't meet the income requirements.

Do me a favor. Look at the form I-864A. What is it called? Does that give you a hint about whether it should be used by your parents?

Also what did I say earlier in this thread?

Seriously man, I don't want to sound like a jerk, but dr lha explained it already many times. Just stop, and READ. Fill out 3 I-864's, THATS IT.
