hi guys,
As mentioned earlier, our status changed to the folowing:
"On september 22nd 2003, the document we made based on the approval or registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued".
3 days later the lawyer got an acknowledgement letter from the BCIS, for the change of address.
Since then i have tried to call the bcis to check the status, as my rd is 4/01 and my nd is 5/01.every single time they say that ur case has been approved and the card has been sent in the mail.
We havent received anything from the bcis, nor the status has changed as "approved".
My first question is, "Is there any way that we can talk to some officer from the bcis, to know what exactly is going on"???
Second question, we had our fingerprinting done in 02/03.that expires next month. Are we supposed to call the bcis n request them to send the notices for fingerprinting or they do it on their own?
really don know how to proceed.
thanx in advance.

We completely understand your frustration...There is no way to talk to an officer other than calling the useless 1-800-375-5283 number. If you are reallllllllllllly lucky, they may transfer you to an officer in TSC.
FP is valid for 15 months..so you have 4 more months. Really wish you get approved soon

I had a similar problem for my son's case. This led me to lodge a complaint with the IIO of 800 number (By the way, they are very stupid bunch of people).

After some time, we got a notice (One month since we spoke) from these people stating some problem, which we never discussed. But we also got approved. Try to file an EAD or some thing to open/reopen your file. Try sending a fax to TSC officer. If you are April/ May 01. May be you are close to get approved.

regards
