I need to get my medical exam done for filling I-485. Is anyone can recomend a good civil sergeon in Atlanta area ? Thanks A Lot!

Hi Samir,

I am getting ready to submit my whole i-485 package because my husband is getting his citizenship interview next month. Do you know if I submit my medical exam together with my I-485, will my medical exam expired.. in certain period of time, e.g. a year ??

I was told that some people don\'t submit their medical exam when they submit their i-485. They said INS will send you a letter to do the medical exam later on.. when your case is approved.
 
Good INS approved doctor in Atlanta

I went to WILLIAMS DAVID A MD 2799 DELK RD SE, MARIETTA, GA 30067, (770) 955-2046. He was a nice doctor and he took the X-rays for the chest directly instead of the skin test saying that all Indians (since they are vaccinated for TB) would test positive for TB with the skin test.

Yes, submit your medical examination report with your I-485 package; I do not think there is an expiry problem. Good luck!
 
Hi Frantic!

I had the skin test and did not test positive! Of course the X-ray is faster---and more expensive!Of course Dr David Williams is also very good and if you are staying in that part of Atlanta that is more convenient.

Another question about medical exam.. I saw this statement on immihelp.com and wanted to very if this is true:

You need to take off your cloth and the doctor will check your private area as part of the physical exam. Is this true ???

Thanks! I am going to a guy doctor for the medical exam and I am a female. That\'s what got me concerned about the statement I saw on immihelp.com.
