I hope someone can help me with my query. My mother has a valid 10 year multiple entry visa which she has used in past many years to come and go back to India. Few times, we had applied for her extension and had gotten it. She has always left within valid visa timeframe.
Her 10 year multiple entry visa expires in February. She has already made plans to come here to visit us in November. We also want to apply for her extension so she can stay more than six months.
So now when she enters in November, her visa would show as expiring in 4 months. Is that going to affect the timeframe she is given when she enters? Also does it affect if we apply for an extension?
Visa is for entry but I am wondering that having soon-to-expire visa may pose a problem. Does she need to reapply? If she applies I am worried what in some weird chances she may be denied visa?
