Rather than go into detail, I have been living out of status in the US while my Canadian immig. paperwork was being processed. I now have my Canadian landing papers. What is the best way to proceed with the landing procedure? Does the port of entry in Canada require that I be legally living here before landing in Cananda? Should I land via Land ( cab/bus/personal car) or by air ? or would it be best for me to travel back home and then proceed to land from there. I'm worried that if I fly back home I will run into US immig. banning me from re-entry for 10 years. I applied to MBA school here and wish to come back to attend. I was planning on landing in Alberta ( Calgary ) where I have family. Please help. Thanks in advance.
